2008-09-06[ARM] Convert asm/io.h to linux/io.hRussell King
Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-08-07[ARM] Move include/asm-arm/arch-* to arch/arm/*/include/machRussell King
This just leaves include/asm-arm/plat-* to deal with. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-08-07[ARM] Remove asm/hardware.h, use asm/arch/hardware.h insteadRussell King
Remove includes of asm/hardware.h in addition to asm/arch/hardware.h. Then, since asm/hardware.h only exists to include asm/arch/hardware.h, update everything to directly include asm/arch/hardware.h and remove asm/hardware.h. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-01-28[ARM] Fix timer damage from d3d74453c34f8fd87674a8cf5b8a327c68f22e99Russell King
Move the xtime write mode seqlock into timer_tick(), so it only surrounds the call to do_timer(). This avoids a deadlock in update_process_times() ... hrtimer_get_softirq_time() which tries to get a read mode seqlock on xtime, thereby preventing booting. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2007-05-16[ARM] Remove Integrator/CP SMP platform supportRussell King
The Integrator/CP SMP platform support was never fully merged, and now it's causing build breakage. Remove it. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2007-05-08Add IRQF_IRQPOLL flag on armBernhard Walle
Add IRQF_IRQPOLL for each timer interrupt. Signed-off-by: Bernhard Walle <bwalle@suse.de> Cc: Russell King <rmk@arm.linux.org.uk> Cc: Ingo Molnar <mingo@elte.hu> Cc: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Cc: Alan Cox <alan@lxorguk.ukuu.org.uk> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@linux-foundation.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>
2006-10-06Initial blind fixup for arm for irq changesLinus Torvalds
Untested, but this should fix up the bulk of the totally mechanical issues, and should make the actual detail fixing easier. Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
2006-07-02[PATCH] ARM: fixup irqflags breakage after ARM genirq mergeThomas Gleixner
The irgflags consolidation did conflict with the ARM to generic IRQ conversion and was not applied for ARM. Fix it up. Use the new IRQF_ constants and remove the SA_INTERRUPT define Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
2006-07-01[ARM] 3687/1: ARM: Convert integrator to generic irq handlingThomas Gleixner
Patch from Thomas Gleixner From: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Fixup the conversion to generic irq subsystem. Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Ingo Molnar <mingo@elte.hu> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2006-03-26[SERIAL] amba-pl010: allow platforms to specify modem control methodRussell King
The amba-pl010 hardware does not provide RTS and DTR control lines; it is expected that these will be implemented using GPIO. Allow platforms to supply a function to implement manipulation of modem control lines. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2006-01-07[ARM] Move AMBA include files to include/linux/amba/Russell King
Since the ARM AMBA bus is used on MIPS as well as ARM, we need to make the bus available for other architectures to use. Move the AMBA include files from include/asm-arm/hardware/ to include/linux/amba/ Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-06-29[PATCH] ARM: Remove nmi_tick from integrator platformsRussell King
The nmi watchdog code hasn't been merged for this platform yet. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-06-29[PATCH] ARM: Convert ARM timer implementations to use readl/writelRussell King
Convert ARMs timer implementations to use readl/writel instead of accessing the registers via a struct. People have recently asked if accessing timers via a structure is the "right way" and its not the Linux way. So fix this code to conform to "The Linux Way"(tm). Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk> Acked-by: Catalin Marinas <catalin.marinas@arm.com>
2005-06-26[PATCH] ARM: Add SA_TIMER flag to timer interruptsRussell King
VST needs to know which timer handler is for the timer interrupt. Mark all timer interrupts with the SA_TIMER flag. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-06-20[PATCH] ARM: Remove nmi_tick() from Integrator.Russell King
Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-06-18[PATCH] ARM SMP: Add basic support Integrator/CP platformRussell King
Add basic SMP support for the Integrator/CP platform. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-05-03[PATCH] ARM: Clean up commenting/spacing for IntegratorRussell King
Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-04-16Linux-2.6.12-rc2Linus Torvalds
Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
