2008-10-09[ARM] 5298/1: Drop desc_handle_irq()Dmitry Baryshkov
desc_handle_irq() was declared as obsolete since long ago. Replace it with generic_handle_irq() Signed-off-by: Dmitry Baryshkov <dbaryshkov@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-10-07[ARM] ohci-pxa27x: introduce flags to avoid direct access to OHCI registersEric Miao
Direct access to USB host controller registers is considered to be not portable, and is usually a bad sign for poorly abstracted interface. Introduce .flags and .power_on_delay to "struct pxaohci_platform_data" so that most platforms don't bother to write their own .init/.exit() sequences. 2008-08-07[ARM] Move include/asm-arm/arch-* to arch/arm/*/include/machRussell King
This just leaves include/asm-arm/plat-* to deal with. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-08-03[ARM] 5182/1: pxa: Fix pcm990 compilationGuennadi Liakhovetski
Compiling pcm990 produces an error: In file included from arch/arm/mach-pxa/pcm990-baseboard.c:25: include/linux/ide.h:645: error: 'CONFIG_IDE_MAX_HWIFS' undeclared here (not in a function) Fix it by removing unneeded header include. 2008-07-09[ARM] 5095/2: pcm990: switch from pxa_gpio_mode to pxa2xx_mfp_configGuennadi Liakhovetski
pxa_gpio_mode() is deprecated, use the new pxa2xx_mfp_config() function to configure GPIOs in pcm990 platform code. Convert "array, ARRAY_SIZE(array)" to "ARRAY_AND_SIZE(array)" while at it. 2008-07-09[ARM] 5085/2: PXA: Move AC97 over to the new central device declaration modelMark Brown
As well as moving all the device declarations to a single one in devices.c this causes all platforms to register the I/O and interrupt resources for the AC97 controller. 2008-07-03[ARM] 5094/1: pcm990: Add framebuffer and backlight supportGuennadi Liakhovetski
PCM990 boards can be assembled with either a Sharp STN or a NEC TFT LCD. This patch adds support for these displays and for the backlight, using the pwm_bl driver. Signed-off-by: Guennadi Liakhovetski <g.liakhovetski@pengutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-04-29i2c: Convert most new-style drivers to use module aliasingJean Delvare
Based on earlier work by Jon Smirl and Jochen Friedrich. Update most new-style i2c drivers to use standard module aliasing instead of the old driver_name/type driver matching scheme. I've left the video drivers apart (except for SoC camera drivers) as they're a bit more diffcult to deal with, they'll have their own patch later. 2008-04-19[ARM] pxa: Phycore pcm-990-specific code for the PXA270 Quick Capture driverGuennadi Liakhovetski
Platform-specific code for Phytec's phyCORE-PXA270 platform Signed-off-by: Guennadi Liakhovetski <g.liakhovetski@pengutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-04-19[ARM] pxa: separate GPIOs and their mode definitions to pxa2xx-gpio.heric miao
two reasons: 1. GPIO namings and their mode definitions are conceptually not part of the PXA register definitions 2. this is actually a temporary move in the transition of PXA2xx to use MFP-alike APIs (as what PXA3xx is now doing), so that legacy code will still work and new code can be added in step by step Signed-off-by: eric miao <eric.miao@marvell.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-01-28[ARM] 4747/1: pcm027: support for pcm990 baseboard for phyCORE-PXA270Robert Schwebel
This patch adds baseboard support for the phyCORE-PXA270 development kit (aka PCM-990). This example shows how to use some phyCORE-PXA270 CPU module features on a baseboard in a standard manner. It could be used as a starting point for custom baseboard development. V2: After comments by Eric Miao: - IRQ chained handler fixed - video/graphic support moved to separate patch - ifdef/endif hell reduced ;-) V3: After comments by Russell King - initialise the mmci platform data statically V4: After comments by Russell King - wrong return value in pcm990_mci_init() fixed Signed-off-by: Juergen Beisert <j.beisert@pengutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
