2009-03-24USB: S3C: Move usb-control.h to platform includeBen Dooks
The usb-control.h is needed by ohci-s3c2410.c for both S3C24XX and S3C64XX architectures, so move it to <plat/usb-control.h> Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben@simtec.co.uk> Cc: David Brownell <dbrownell@users.sourceforge.net> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>
2008-10-14Merge branch 's3c-move' into develRussell King
Conflicts: arch/arm/mach-versatile/core.c
2008-10-07[ARM] S3C24XX: Move files out of include/asm-arm/plat-s3c*Ben Dooks
First move of items out of include/asm-arm/plat-s3c* to their new homes under arch/arm/plat-s3c/include/plat and arch/arm/plat-s3c24xx/include/plat directories. Note, we have to create a dummy arch/arm/plat-s3c/Makefile to allow us to add arch/arm/plat-s3c/include/plat to the path. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
2008-09-06[ARM] Convert asm/io.h to linux/io.hRussell King
Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-08-07[ARM] Move include/asm-arm/arch-* to arch/arm/*/include/machRussell King
This just leaves include/asm-arm/plat-* to deal with. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-08-07[ARM] Remove asm/hardware.h, use asm/arch/hardware.h insteadRussell King
Remove includes of asm/hardware.h in addition to asm/arch/hardware.h. Then, since asm/hardware.h only exists to include asm/arch/hardware.h, update everything to directly include asm/arch/hardware.h and remove asm/hardware.h. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-01-26[ARM] Remove pointless casts from void pointers,Jeff Garzik
mostly in and around irq handlers. Signed-off-by: Jeff Garzik <jgarzik@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2007-02-11[ARM] 4157/2: S3C24XX: move arch/arch/mach-s3c2410 into cpu componentsBen Dooks
The following patch and script moves the arch/arm/mach-s3c2410 directory into arch/arm/plat-s3c24xx for the generic core code and inti arch/arm/mach-s3c{cpu} for the cpu/machine support files Include directory include/asm-arm/plat-s3c24xx is added for the core include files. 2006-10-06Initial blind fixup for arm for irq changesLinus Torvalds
Untested, but this should fix up the bulk of the totally mechanical issues, and should make the actual detail fixing easier. Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
2006-09-25[ARM] 3843/1: S3C24XX: Remove modfication lines from commentsBen Dooks
Remove the redundant Modification lines from the top of the files in arch/arm/mach-s3c2410 Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2006-07-02[PATCH] ARM: fixup irqflags breakage after ARM genirq mergeThomas Gleixner
The irgflags consolidation did conflict with the ARM to generic IRQ conversion and was not applied for ARM. Fix it up. Use the new IRQF_ constants and remove the SA_INTERRUPT define Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
2006-01-08[PATCH] IRQ type flagsRussell King
Some ARM platforms have the ability to program the interrupt controller to detect various interrupt edges and/or levels. For some platforms, this is critical to setup correctly, particularly those which the setting is dependent on the device. Currently, ARM drivers do (eg) the following: err = request_irq(irq, ...); set_irq_type(irq, IRQT_RISING); However, if the interrupt has previously been programmed to be level sensitive (for whatever reason) then this will cause an interrupt storm. Hence, if we combine set_irq_type() with request_irq(), we can then safely set the type prior to unmasking the interrupt. The unfortunate problem is that in order to support this, these flags need to be visible outside of the ARM architecture - drivers such as smc91x need these flags and they're cross-architecture. Finally, the SA_TRIGGER_* flag passed to request_irq() should reflect the property that the device would like. The IRQ controller code should do its best to select the most appropriate supported mode. 2005-09-29[ARM] Don't include mach-types.h unnecessarilyRussell King
It's pointless to include mach-types.h if you're not going to use anything from it. These references were removed as a result of: grep -lr 'asm/mach-types\.h' . | xargs grep -L 'machine_is_\|MACH_TYPE_\|MACHINE_START\|machine_type' Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-08-10[PATCH] ARM: 2849/1: S3C24XX - USB host update (2848/1)Ben Dooks
Patch from Ben Dooks Rename the s3c2410_report_oc() to s3c2410_usb_report_oc() as this is an usb specific function. Change port power on the usb-simtec implementation to only power up the output if both are set, as per the usb 1.1 specification Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
