2007-10-23m68knommu: cleanup 68328 init codeGreg Ungerer
Clean up 68328 timer support code. Removed header includes not needed. Remove use of old m68knommu timer function pointers. Signed-off-by: Greg Ungerer <gerg@uclinux.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>
2007-10-23m68knommu: cleanup m68knommu timer codeGreg Ungerer
Reduce the function pointer mess of the m68knommu timer code by calling directly to the local hardware's timer setup, and expose the local common timer interrupt handler to the lower level hardware timer. Ultimately this will save definitions of all these functions across all the platform code to setup the function pointers (which for any given m68knommu CPU family member can be only one set of hardware timer functions). 2007-10-23m68knommu: fix syscall tracingMatt Waddel
Fix the system call code for handling syscall tracing, so strace and gdbserver work properly. This fix originally developed by Philippe De Muyter and Stuart Hughes. Signed-off-by: Greg Ungerer <gerg@uclinux.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>

2007-10-15kbuild: fix AFLAGS use in h8300 and m68knommuSam Ravnborg
In most cases when AFALGS is manipuled direct this is a bug and EXTRA_AFLAGS should have been used. Fix the obvious candidates. Signed-off-by: Sam Ravnborg <sam@ravnborg.org> Cc: Greg Ungerer <gerg@uclinux.org> Cc: Yoshinori Sato <ysato@users.sourceforge.jp>

2007-07-26m68knommu: use setup_irq() in 68328 timer codeGreg Ungerer
Use setup_irq() instead of request_irq() to set up system timer in 68328 timer code. With the old m68knommu irq code this was safe, but it is not now within the generic irq framework. Signed-off-by: Greg Ungerer <gerg@uclinux.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>
2007-07-26m68knommu: use setup_irq() in ColdFire PIT timerGreg Ungerer
Use setup_irq() instead of request_irq() to set up system timer in ColdFire PIT timer code. With the old m68knommu irq code this was safe, but it is not now within the generic irq framework. Signed-off-by: Greg Ungerer <gerg@uclinux.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>

2007-07-26m68knommu: use setup_irq() in 68360 timer codeGreg Ungerer
Use setup_irq() instead of request_irq() to set up system timer in 68360 timer code. With the old m68knommu irq code this was safe, but it is not now within the generic irq framework. Signed-off-by: Greg Ungerer <gerg@uclinux.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>
2007-07-25m68knommu: make BOOTPARAM setup commonGreg Ungerer
Currently most of the m68knommu cpu/board setup files are handling the setup of fixed boot parameters (via CONFIG_BOOTPARAM) themselves. Move all this into the common setup code. Signed-off-by: Greg Ungerer <gerg@uclinux.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>
2007-07-25m68knommu: simplify ColdFire resume codeGreg Ungerer
It is useless to preserve THREAD_SR in `resume'. The real user's sr is actually in the stack. We also don't need to disable interrupts : we'll never be in an invalid state, the sp switch is atomic. Signed-off-by: Philippe De Muyter <phdm@macqel.be> Signed-off-by: Greg Ungerer <gerg@uclinux.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>

2007-06-08m68knommu: fix ColdFire timer off by 1Greg Ungerer
The coldfire timer runs from 0 to TRR included, then 0 again and so on. It counts thus actually TRR + 1 steps for 1 tick, not TRR. Fix that. powerpc gets: init/main.c: In function `do_basic_setup': init/main.c:714: warning: implicit declaration of function `init_irq_proc' but we cannot include linux/irq.h in generic code. 2006-12-06[PATCH] m68knommu: switch 68360 to using rtc_timeGreg Ungerer
Adds support for RTCs (through genrtc) for M68KNOMMU. Board-specific code will have to link the appropriate RTC driver to the mach_hwclk callback, at minimum. This patch switches the 68360 code over to using rtc_time.
