2007-01-05[PATCH] hpt37x: Two important bug fixesAlan
The HPT37x driver very carefully handles DMA completions and the needed fixups are done on pci registers 0x50 and 0x52. This is unfortunate because the actual registers are 0x50 and 0x54. Fixing this offset cures the second channel problems reported. Secondly there are some problems with the HPT370 and certain ATA drives. The filter code however only filters ATAPI devices due to a reversed type check. 2006-12-03[PATCH] libata: kill unnecessary sht->max_sectors initializationsTejun Heo
sht->max_sectors is overrided unconditionally in ->slave_configure. There's no reason to set it to any value. Signed-off-by: Tejun Heo <htejun@gmail.com>
2006-11-29[PATCH] libata: add missing sht->slave_destroyTejun Heo
Many LLDs are missing sht->slave_destroy. The method is mandatory to support device warm unplugging (echo 1 > /sys/.../delete). Without it, libata might access released scsi device. Signed-off-by: Tejun Heo <htejun@gmail.com>
2006-11-14[PATCH] hpt37x: Check the enablebitsAlan Cox
Helps for PATA but SATA bridged devices lie and always set all the bits so will need the error handling fixes from Tejun. Signed-off-by: Alan Cox <alan@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Jeff Garzik <jeff@garzik.org>
2006-09-28[libata] PCI ID table cleanup in various driversJeff Garzik
* Use PCI_VDEVICE() macro * const-ify pci_device_id table * standardize list terminator as "{ }" * convert spaces to tab in pci_driver struct (Alan-ism) * various minor whitespace cleanups Signed-off-by: Jeff Garzik <jeff@garzik.org>
2006-09-27[libata] Don't use old-EH ->eng_timeout() hook when not neededJeff Garzik
The PATA driver set got converted to the new error handling setup, but the old hooks were accidentally left in place. Now, removed. Signed-off-by: Jeff Garzik <jeff@garzik.org>
