Discovery Fixes: - Prevent starting discovery of a node if discovery is in progress. - Code improvement (reduction) for lpfc_findnode_did(). - Update discovery to send RFF to Fabric on link up - Bypass unique WWN checks for fabric addresses - Add ndlp to plogi list prior to issuing the plogi els command Signed-off-by: James Smart <James.Smart@emulex.com> Signed-off-by: James Bottomley <James.Bottomley@SteelEye.com>
2006-10-25[SCSI] lpfc: check before dereference in lpfc_ct.cEric Sesterhenn
If we fail to allocate mp->virt during the first while loop iteration, mlist is still uninitialized, therefore we should check if before dereferencing. 2006-10-02[PATCH] namespaces: utsname: use init_utsname when appropriateSerge E. Hallyn
In some places, particularly drivers and __init code, the init utsns is the appropriate one to use. This patch replaces those with a the init_utsname helper. Changes: Removed several uses of init_utsname(). Hope I picked all the right ones in net/ipv4/ipconfig.c. These are now changed to utsname() (the per-process namespace utsname) in the previous patch (2/7) [akpm@osdl.org: CIFS fix] Signed-off-by: Serge E. 2006-09-04[SCSI] lpfc 8.1.10 : Add support for dev_loss_tmo_callbk and ↵James Smart
fast_io_fail_tmo_callbk Add support for new dev_loss_tmo callback Goodness is that it removes code for a parallel nodev timer that existed in the driver Add support for the new fast_io_fail callback Signed-off-by: James Smart <James.Smart@emulex.com> Signed-off-by: James Bottomley <James.Bottomley@SteelEye.com>

2006-03-06[PATCH] lpfc 8.1.3: Fix deadlock in lpfc_fdmi_tmo_handlerJamie Wellnitz
Fix deadlock in lpfc_fdmi_tmo_handler lpfc_fdmi_tmo_handler was calling lpfc_fdmi_cmd with the host_lock held. lpfc_fdmi_cmd assumes the host_lock is released as it calls functions that acquire the host_lock. lpfc_fdmi_tmo_handler acquired the host_lock to protect access to work_hba_events. This was already checked in the worker thread so we can remove that code completely and remove access to the host_lock. 2005-10-29[SCSI] lpfc: Fix eh_ return codes for commandsJames.Smart@Emulex.Com
Return FAILED from eh_ routines if command(s) is(are) not completed There were scenarios where we may have returned from the error handlers prior to all affected commands being flushed to the midlayer. Add changes to ensure this doesn't happen. Signed-off-by: James Smart <James.Smart@emulex.com> Signed-off-by: James Bottomley <James.Bottomley@SteelEye.com>
2005-10-29[SCSI] lpfc: Fix for "command completion for iotax x?? not found"James Bottomley
From: James Smart <James.Smart@emulex.com> There were scenarios where the error handlers could reuse an iotag value of an active io. Remove all possibility of this by pre-assigning iotag resources to command resources. 2005-08-12[SCSI] lpfc driver 8.0.30 : convert to use of int_to_scsilun()James.Smart@Emulex.Com
Replace use of lpfc_put_lun with midlayer's int_to_scsilun Remove driver's local definition of lpfc_put_lun (which converts an int back to a 64-bit LUN) and replace it's use with the recently added int_to_scsilun function provided by the midlayer. Note: Embedding midlayer structure in our structure caused need for more files to include midlayer headers. 2005-08-12[SCSI] lpfc driver 8.0.30 : fix get_stats panicJames.Smart@Emulex.Com
Fix panic in lpfc_get_stats() Symptoms: Panic on sysfs stats access Cause: In lpfc_get_stats() we are writing to memory that we do not own. Fix: Fix our stats structure allocation. Embed phba->link_stats in struct lpfc_hba and stop treating it like rogue structure. Note: Embedding midlayer/transport structure in our structure caused need for more files to include midlayer/transport headers.
