2008-10-31sh: Fix up the shared IRQ demuxer's control bit testing logic.Michael Trimarchi
Correct the interrupt handler in sh4 serial device, return the correct value and check for what is anabled in the SCSCR register. The sh7722 is broken just sending a break using minicom. Signed-off-by: Michael Trimarchi <trimarchimichael@yahoo.it> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2008-10-31Define SCSPTR1 for SH 7751RMatt Fleming
After the recent commit to kill off SCI/SCIF special casing SH 7751R fails to compile with CONFIG_SH_RTS7751R2D set. This is because SCSPTR1 is undefined. Take the value for SCSPTR1 from the SH7751R Group Hardware Manual. Signed-off-by: Matt Fleming <mjf@gentoo.org> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2008-10-31sh: Add sci_rxd_in of SH4-202Nobuhiro Iwamatsu
SH4-202 doesn't have SCSXX1. But it is treated so that there is SCSPTR1 in current code. This patch add sci_rxd_in of SH4-202. Signed-off-by: Nobuhiro Iwamatsu <iwamatsu.nobuhiro@renesas.com> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2008-10-31sh: Change register name SCSPTR to SCSPTR2Nobuhiro Iwamatsu
This change a name of SCSPTR used in sci_rxd_in of SH5-101. SCSPTR is not declared and will become the error. Signed-off-by: Nobuhiro Iwamatsu <iwamatsu.nobuhiro@renesas.com> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2008-10-28sh: Revert "SH 7366 needs SCIF_ONLY"Paul Mundt
This reverts commit 5ca8c4852fcbbc8a8497c4ee8b2a0a7466f3524c. With the killing off of SCIF_ONLY and its spawn in sh-sci, we no longer require this change, so just revert it. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>

2008-10-28SH 7366 needs SCIF_ONLYKuninori Morimoto
SH 7366 has compile bug. because there is no SCIF_ONLY for SH 7366. this patch add it. Signed-off-by: Kuninori Morimoto <morimoto.kuninori@renesas.com> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2008-10-20serial: sh-sci: Add support SCIF of SH7723Nobuhiro Iwamatsu
SH7723 has two types of SCIF (SCIF and SCIFA). The current sh-sci driver supports only SCIFA, and calculation methods of SCBRR are different. This patch support this methods. Signed-off-by: Nobuhiro Iwamatsu <iwamatsu.nobuhiro@renesas.com> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2008-10-02serial: sh-sci: Kill off all of the SCI/SCIF special casing.Paul Mundt
This was added at a time when the compiler did a less than stellar job of optimizing out dead code. These days this tends to be less of a concern, so kill it all off. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2008-10-02Merge branch 'sh/g3-prep'Paul Mundt
2008-10-02serial: sh-sci: Dynamic clock management depends on HAVE_CLK.Paul Mundt
Presently this is conditionalized on sh, and disabled for sh64. Now that SH-5 ties in to the clock framework, the sh64 exception can be dropped. Additionally, ARM will want to use the same hooks once SH-Mobile G3 grows clock framework support, so switch these paths over to HAVE_CLK now. Once the H8 and ARM sh-sci users hook up HAVE_CLK, the driver can be switched over to having an outright dependency on it and the ifdefs can go away. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2008-10-01serial: sh-sci: Handle the general UPF_IOREMAP case.Paul Mundt
Presently we don't do much with UPF_IOREMAP other than special case it for SH-5's onchip_remap() on the early console. Tie this in generically for platforms that need the remap. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2008-07-30serial: sh-sci: Fix up SH7760/SH7780/SH7785 early printk regression.Paul Mundt
As noted by Manuel: Commit c63847a3621d2bac054f5709783860ecabd0ee7e ("sh: Add SCIF2 support for SH7763.") broke build with CONFIG_EARLY_PRINTK enabled for me (SH7760): CC arch/sh/kernel/early_printk.o /mnt/work/sh7760/kernel/linux-2.6.git/arch/sh/kernel/early_printk.c: In function 'scif_sercon_putc': /mnt/work/sh7760/kernel/linux-2.6.git/arch/sh/kernel/early_printk.c:84: error: implicit declaration of function 'sci_SCFDR_in' Move the SH7763 definitions out on their own, so they don't create additional confusion within the SH7760/SH7780/SH7785 block. Restore the deleted SCFDR definition for these parts. Reported-by: Manuel Lauss <mano@roarinelk.homelinux.net> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2008-07-28sh: Add SCIF2 support for SH7763.Nobuhiro Iwamatsu
SH7763 has 3 SCIF device. Current code supports SCIF0 and 1. SCIF0 and 1 are same register constitution, but only SCIF2 is different. I added support of SCIF2. Signed-off-by: Nobuhiro Iwamatsu <iwamatsu.nobuhiro@renesas.com> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2008-05-08sh-sci: avoid writing to nonexistent registersMagnus Damm

2008-05-08sh-sci: sh7722 lacks scsptr registersMagnus Damm
The sh7722 serial ports all lack SCSPTR registers, so mark them as nonexistent in the register table. Signed-off-by: Magnus Damm <damm@igel.co.jp> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2008-05-08sh-sci: improve sh7722 supportMagnus Damm

2008-02-14serial: sh-sci: Fix up SH-5 build.Paul Mundt
asm/hardware.h doesn't exist any more, and the definitions sh-sci.h depended on are provided through asm/cpu/addrspace.h these days. Kill off the bogus include. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2008-02-14sh: add support for sh7366 processorMagnus Damm
This patch adds sh7366 cpu supports. Just the most basic things like interrupt controller, clocks and serial port are included at this point. Signed-off-by: Magnus Damm <damm@igel.co.jp> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>

2008-01-28sh: Add SH7263 CPU support.Paul Mundt
This adds support for the SH7263 (SH-2A) CPU. This particular CPU is a superset of SH7203, adding some additional peripheral blocks and hooking up additional (reserved on SH7203) vectors in the INTC block. No visibly nasty surprises, yet.. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2008-01-28sh: Add SH7203 CPU support.Paul Mundt
This adds support for the SH7203 (SH-2A) CPU. Signed-off-by: Kieran Bingham <kbingham@mpc-data.co.uk> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2007-11-07sh: Remove SCI_NPORTS from sh-sci.hNobuhiro Iwamatsu
When SH7710 and SH7712 are used, SCI_NPORTS redefined. Remove it. Signed-off-by: Nobuhiro Iwamatsu <iwamatsu@nigauri.org> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2007-11-07sh: Kill off the remaining ST40 cruft.Paul Mundt
The ST40 stuff in-tree hasn't built for some time, and hasn't been updated for over 3 years. ST maintains their own out-of-tree changes and rebases occasionally, and that's ultimately where all of the ST40 users go anyways. In order for the ST40 code to be brought up to date most of the stuff removed in this changeset would have to be rewritten anyways, so there's very little benefit in keeping the remnants around either. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2007-09-21sh: Add SH7720 CPU support.Markus Brunner
This adds support for the SH7720 (SH3-DSP) CPU. Signed-off by: Markus Brunner <super.firetwister@gmail.com> Signed-off by: Mark Jonas <toertel@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2007-09-21serial: sh-sci: Shut up compiler warning for SH-X3 SCIF.Paul Mundt

2007-07-26sh: remove support for sh7300 and solution engine 7300Magnus Damm
This patch removes old dead code: - kill off sh7300 cpu support - get rid of broken solution engine 7300 board support Signed-off-by: Magnus Damm <damm@igel.co.jp> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2007-07-26sh: sh-sci - fix SH7708 supportMagnus Damm
This patch makes sure the sci serial port driver compiles for sh7708. The approach taken is to treat the sh7708 as a subset of sh7706, sh7707, sh7709. sh7708 is very similar to sh7706, sh7707, sh7709, but only equipped with a single sci port. The platform data in setup-sh770x.c already limits the number of serial ports for sh7708 to a single one, so the non-existing scif ports pointed out in sh-sci.h will remain unused in case of sh7708. Signed-off-by: Magnus Damm <damm@igel.co.jp> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2007-07-25sh: remove support for sh73180 and solution engine 73180Magnus Damm
This patch removes old dead code: - kill off sh73180 cpu support - get rid of broken solution engine 73180 board support Signed-off-by: Magnus Damm <damm@igel.co.jp> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2007-06-20sh: Preliminary support for the SH-X3 CPU.Paul Mundt
This adds basic support for UP SH-X3. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2007-06-08sh: Fix SH-4 CPU selects.Paul Mundt
Now that select no longer works for selecting the "closest" CPU, we have to explicitly reference the precise sub-type in the few places where it actually matters (presently only setup code and some legacy sh-sci cruft). Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2007-05-07sh: MS7712SE01 board support.Nobuhiro Iwamatsu
Support the SH7712 (SH3-DSP) Solution Engine reference board. Signed-off-by: Nobuhiro Iwamatsu <iwamatsu@nigauri.org> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2007-05-07sh: Add SH7785 Highlander board support (R7785RP).Paul Mundt
This adds preliminary support for the SH7785-based Highlander board. Some of the Highlander support code is reordered so that most of it can be reused directly. This also plugs in missing SH7785 checks in the places that need it, as this is the first board to support the CPU. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2006-12-12sh: SH-MobileR SH7722 CPU support.Paul Mundt
This adds CPU support for the SH7722. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2006-12-12serial: sh-sci: Shut up various sci_rxd_in() gcc4 warnings.Paul Mundt
Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2006-12-06sh: More flexible + SH7780 earlyprintk SCIF support.Paul Mundt
This makes the early printk support somewhat more flexible, moving the port definition to a config option, and making the port initialization configurable for sh-ipl+g users. At the same time, this allows us to trivially wire up the SH7780 SCIF0, so that's thrown in too more or less for free. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2006-12-06sh: Add support for SH7206 and SH7619 CPU subtypes.Yoshinori Sato
This implements initial support for the SH7206 (SH-2A) and SH7619 (SH-2) MMU-less CPUs. Signed-off-by: Yoshinori Sato <ysato@users.sourceforge.jp> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2006-10-04Remove all inclusions of <linux/config.h>Dave Jones
kbuild explicitly includes this at build time. Signed-off-by: Dave Jones <davej@redhat.com>
2006-09-27serial: Rework sh-sci for driver model.Paul Mundt
sh-sci was turning in to an unmaintainable mess, especially with regards to the port list. This cleans it up quite a bit, and switches over to a platform device model where subtypes will register their port list individually in their setup code. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>

2006-02-01[PATCH] sh: sh-sci clock framework updatesPaul Mundt
A couple of updates for the sh-sci serial driver: - Update for clock framework on sh. - Fix a compile error introduced by some h8300 changes. - Add SH7770/SH7780 subtype support. 2005-04-16Linux-2.6.12-rc2Linus Torvalds
Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
