2009-10-08ixgbe: Fix KR to KX fail over for Mezzanine cardsDon Skidmore
This patch allows the recently added backplane device IDs that support KR to fail over to KX during link setup. This is accomplished by the new MAC link setup function ixgbe_setup_mac_link_smartspeed(). Comments were also updated to better document the reason for the delays chosen for KX, KX4, BX, BX4 and KR connections. 2009-10-07bonding: introduce primary_reselect optionJiri Pirko
In some cases there is not desirable to switch back to primary interface when it's link recovers and rather stay with currently active one. We need to avoid packetloss as much as we can in some cases. This is solved by introducing primary_reselect option. Note that enslaved primary slave is set as current active no matter what. Patch modified by Jay Vosburgh as follows: fixed bug in action after change of option setting via sysfs, revised the documentation update, and bumped the bonding version number. The status of tx-checksumming was not changed from on to off after a 'ethtool -K <ifname> tx off' operation.
