2005-06-23[PATCH] remove <linux/xattr_acl.h>Christoph Hellwig
This file duplicates <linux/posix_acl_xattr.h>, using slightly different names. Signed-off-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@osdl.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
2005-06-22[PATCH] fix nfsacl pointer arithmetic and pg_class initialization bugsAndreas Gruenbacher
* Pointer arithmetic bug: p is in word units. This fixes a memory corruption with big acls. * Initialize pg_class to prevent a NULL pointer access. Signed-off-by: Andreas Gruenbacher <agruen@suse.de> Signed-off-by: Trond Myklebust <Trond.Myklebust@netapp.com>
2005-06-22[PATCH] NFSD: Add server support for NFSv3 ACLs.Andreas Gruenbacher
This adds functions for encoding and decoding POSIX ACLs for the NFSACL protocol extension, and the GETACL and SETACL RPCs. The implementation is compatible with NFSACL in Solaris. 2005-06-22[PATCH] NFSD: Add NFS3ERR_NOTSUPP to the nfsd error mapping tableAndreas Gruenbacher
Add the missing NFS3ERR_NOTSUPP error code (defined in NFSv3) to the system-to-protocol-error table in nfsd. The nfsacl extension uses this error code. 2005-06-22[PATCH] RPC: Make rpc_create_client() destroy the transport on failure.Trond Myklebust
This saves us a couple of lines of cleanup code for each call. Signed-off-by: Trond Myklebust <Trond.Myklebust@netapp.com>
2005-04-16[PATCH] nfsd4: fix struct file leakNeilBrown
We were failing to close on an error path, resulting in a leak of struct files which could take a v4 server down fairly quickly.... So call nfs4_close_delegation instead of just open-coding parts of it. Simplify the cleanup on delegation failure while we're at it. Signed-off-by: J. 2005-04-16[PATCH] nfsd4: callback create rpc client returnsNeilBrown
rpc_create_clnt and friends return errors, not NULL, on failure. Signed-off-by: J. Bruce Fields <bfields@citi.umich.edu> Signed-off-by: Neil Brown <neilb@cse.unsw.edu.au> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@osdl.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
2005-04-16[PATCH] nfsd: clear signals before exiting the nfsd() threadNeilBrown
Fixes the error "RPC: failed to contact portmap (errno -512)." when the server later tries to unregister from the portmapper. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
