2007-06-01ALPHA: correct low-level I/O routines for sable-lynxJay Estabrook
This code corrects the behavior of the t2_readX/t2_writeX routines, and t2_ioreadNN/t2_iowriteNN routines. The value T2_DENSE_MEM is now subtracted from the "xaddr" argument in each of the readX/writeX routines, since those routines may be called directly, rather than always through the ioreadNN/iowriteNN routines. Examples of the direct calls, via the __raw_readX/writeX macros, are the memcpy_fromio/toio, _memset_c_io, and scr_memcpyw routines. 2006-06-27[PATCH] spin/rwlock init cleanupsIngo Molnar
locking init cleanups: - convert " = SPIN_LOCK_UNLOCKED" to spin_lock_init() or DEFINE_SPINLOCK() - convert rwlocks in a similar manner this patch was generated automatically. Motivation: - cleanliness - lockdep needs control of lock initialization, which the open-coded variants do not give - it's also useful for -rt and for lock debugging in general Signed-off-by: Ingo Molnar <mingo@elte.hu> Signed-off-by: Arjan van de Ven <arjan@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@osdl.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
