2009-02-16sctp: Clean up sctp checksumming codeVlad Yasevich
The sctp crc32c checksum is always generated in little endian. So, we clean up the code to treat it as little endian and remove all the __force casts. Suggested by Herbert Xu. Signed-off-by: Vlad Yasevich <vladislav.yasevich@hp.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2009-01-22sctp: Fix crc32c calculations on big-endian arhes.Vlad Yasevich
crc32c algorithm provides a byteswaped result. On little-endian arches, the result ends up in big-endian/network byte order. On big-endinan arches, the result ends up in little-endian order and needs to be byte swapped again. Thus calling cpu_to_le32 gives the right output. 2008-01-28[SCTP]: Use crc32c library for checksum calculations.Vlad Yasevich
The crc32c library used an identical table and algorithm as SCTP. Switch to using the library instead of carrying our own table. Using crypto layer proved to have too much overhead compared to using the library directly. Signed-off-by: Vlad Yasevich <vladislav.yasevich@hp.com> Signed-off-by: David S.
