From 1da177e4c3f41524e886b7f1b8a0c1fc7321cac2 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Linus Torvalds Date: Sat, 16 Apr 2005 15:20:36 -0700 Subject: Linux-2.6.12-rc2 Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip! --- arch/sh/kernel/ptrace.c | 320 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 1 file changed, 320 insertions(+) create mode 100644 arch/sh/kernel/ptrace.c (limited to 'arch/sh/kernel/ptrace.c') diff --git a/arch/sh/kernel/ptrace.c b/arch/sh/kernel/ptrace.c new file mode 100644 index 00000000000..1b0dfb4d8ea --- /dev/null +++ b/arch/sh/kernel/ptrace.c @@ -0,0 +1,320 @@ +/* + * linux/arch/sh/kernel/ptrace.c + * + * Original x86 implementation: + * By Ross Biro 1/23/92 + * edited by Linus Torvalds + * + * SuperH version: Copyright (C) 1999, 2000 Kaz Kojima & Niibe Yutaka + * + */ + +#include +#include +#include +#include +#include +#include +#include +#include +#include +#include +#include + +#include +#include +#include +#include +#include +#include + +/* + * does not yet catch signals sent when the child dies. + * in exit.c or in signal.c. + */ + +/* + * This routine will get a word off of the process kernel stack. + */ +static inline int get_stack_long(struct task_struct *task, int offset) +{ + unsigned char *stack; + + stack = (unsigned char *) + task->thread_info + THREAD_SIZE - sizeof(struct pt_regs) +#ifdef CONFIG_SH_DSP + - sizeof(struct pt_dspregs) +#endif + - sizeof(unsigned long); + stack += offset; + return (*((int *)stack)); +} + +/* + * This routine will put a word on the process kernel stack. + */ +static inline int put_stack_long(struct task_struct *task, int offset, + unsigned long data) +{ + unsigned char *stack; + + stack = (unsigned char *) + task->thread_info + THREAD_SIZE - sizeof(struct pt_regs) +#ifdef CONFIG_SH_DSP + - sizeof(struct pt_dspregs) +#endif + - sizeof(unsigned long); + stack += offset; + *(unsigned long *) stack = data; + return 0; +} + +/* + * Called by kernel/ptrace.c when detaching.. + * + * Make sure single step bits etc are not set. + */ +void ptrace_disable(struct task_struct *child) +{ + /* nothing to do.. */ +} + +asmlinkage int sys_ptrace(long request, long pid, long addr, long data) +{ + struct task_struct *child; + struct user * dummy = NULL; + int ret; + + lock_kernel(); + ret = -EPERM; + if (request == PTRACE_TRACEME) { + /* are we already being traced?
