The 3 #defines are unused in most of the touched files. A few drivers use the simple KERNEL_VERSION(a,b,c) macro, which is unfortunatly in linux/version.h. There are also lots of #ifdef for long obsolete kernels, this was not touched. In a few places, the linux/version.h include was move to where the LINUX_VERSION_CODE was used. quilt vi `find * -type f -name "*.[ch]"|xargs grep -El '(UTS_RELEASE|LINUX_VERSION_CODE|KERNEL_VERSION|linux/version.h)'|grep -Ev '(/(boot|coda|drm)/|~$)'` search pattern: /UTS_RELEASE\|LINUX_VERSION_CODE\|KERNEL_VERSION\|linux\/\(utsname\|version\).h Signed-off-by: Olaf Hering Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds --- drivers/scsi/ibmmca.c | 6 ------ 1 file changed, 6 deletions(-) (limited to 'drivers/scsi/ibmmca.c') diff --git a/drivers/scsi/ibmmca.c b/drivers/scsi/ibmmca.c index 887a5c3ded2..8d97999db60 100644 --- a/drivers/scsi/ibmmca.c +++ b/drivers/scsi/ibmmca.c @@ -18,12 +18,6 @@ */ #include -#ifndef LINUX_VERSION_CODE -#include -#endif -#if LINUX_VERSION_CODE < KERNEL_VERSION(2,5,45) -#error "This driver works only with kernel 2.5.45 or higher!" -#endif #include #include #include -- cgit v1.2.3 From d0be4a7d29ad0bd3ce2209dd9e46d410b632db59 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Christoph Hellwig Date: Mon, 31 Oct 2005 18:31:40 +0100 Subject: [SCSI] remove Scsi_Host_Template typedef Signed-off-by: James Bottomley --- drivers/scsi/ibmmca.c | 8 ++++---- 1 file changed, 4 insertions(+), 4 deletions(-) (limited to 'drivers/scsi/ibmmca.c') diff --git a/drivers/scsi/ibmmca.c b/drivers/scsi/ibmmca.c index 887a5c3ded2..05ecc911e94 100644 --- a/drivers/scsi/ibmmca.c +++ b/drivers/scsi/ibmmca.c @@ -498,7 +498,7 @@ static char *ibmrate(unsigned int, int); static int probe_display(int); static int probe_bus_mode(int); static int device_exists(int, int, int *, int *); -static struct Scsi_Host *ibmmca_register(Scsi_Host_Template *, int, int, int, char *); +static struct Scsi_Host *ibmmca_register(struct scsi_host_template *, int, int, int, char *); static int option_setup(char *); /* local functions needed for proc_info */ static int ldn_access_load(int, int); @@ -1489,7 +1489,7 @@ static int ibmmca_getinfo(char *buf, int slot, void *dev_id) return len; } -int ibmmca_detect(Scsi_Host_Template * scsi_template) +int ibmmca_detect(struct scsi_host_template * scsi_template) { struct Scsi_Host *shpnt; int port, id, i, j, k, list_size, slot; @@ -1742,7 +1742,7 @@ int ibmmca_detect(Scsi_Host_Template * scsi_template) return found; /* return the number of found SCSI hosts.
