2009-06-09GTA0[12]: make headset button report PLAY pressed on pressPaul Fertser
As discussed on the ML, currently headset button reports "KEY_PAUSE released" on press and "pressed" on release. For "pause" semantics it makes sense but if someone thinks of that as of just another button, it'd be good to have "pressed/released" events consistent with button press/release. Luca Capello <luca@pca.it> suggested to change the button event to KEY_PLAY and to invert the state to make it more consistent. This trivial patch inverts button events for GTA03 KEY_PLUS and KEY_MINUS, i'm not sure how undesirable that is. I can prepare an alternative that preserves current behaviour on GTA03 per request. 2008-12-29Filter AUX key bouncingNelson Castillo
This patch filters AUX key bouncing. We store the state of the AUX button and only change it when we notice that at least AUX_TIMER_CONSECUTIVE_EVENTS consecutive equal GPIO reads occur. This should solve #2185 (AUX button makes interrupt storm) but we still need the confirmation from someone affected by the IRQ storm. In my test setup I could see an improvement but I would only get 1 unwanted IRQ. The next step is to use the same timer for more keys. 2008-11-19[ARM]: Move asm/arch/gpio.h to mach/ directoryJonas Bonn
This file was moved in the big file move, but some OpenMoko specific changes did not make it. This patch peels out the relevant bits and adds them to the gpio.h file in the upstream location. The only OpenMoko specific change is the definition of gpio_to_irq and irq_to_gpio. These functions should really be defined in gpio_chip and asm-generic/gpio.h; this is coming soon, but until then we'll just use the Moko definitions that we've been using up until now. This is not strictly correct for the GTA02 case, but it works given the configuration that's currently in use. Headphone jack detection is bouncy, it can trigger multiple interrupts on insertion or removal. This patch adds a workqueue that waits out the interrupt spew in 100ms units, and if it sees no more interrupts for 100ms only then samples and reports the jack state. 2008-10-16omap drivers: switch to standard GPIO callsDavid Brownell
This updates most of the OMAP drivers which are in mainline to switch to using the cross-platform GPIO calls instead of the older OMAP-specific ones. This is all fairly brainless/obvious stuff. Probably the most interesting bit is to observe that the omap-keypad code seems to now have a portable core that could work with non-OMAP matrix keypads. (That would improve with hardware IRQ debouncing enabled, of course...)
